Erika Rylander is the co-owner and operations manager of Living in Legacy Counseling. She enjoys keeping things organized and running efficiently. Erika is a spreadsheet master and has a knack for creating systems that keep the practice on track. Erika manages scheduling, finances, and many of the day-to-day operations of the practice. Chances are, if you call with a question or to schedule an appointment, Erika will be there to assist you. She enjoys helping clients find a clinician who fits their needs and answering questions that may help ease some of the uncertainty before a first counseling session. She understands that conversations about scheduling, finances, or billing can sometimes feel overwhelming and strives to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible. For Erika, people come first and business comes second, and she wants clients to know there are no wrong questions.

Before opening Living in Legacy, Erika worked in healthcare as a Radiologic Technologist. She also worked in a church supervising childcare staff, serving in preschool ministry, and helping with the children’s portion of a recovery program. Erika has also worked in other private practice counseling settings, where she discovered how much she enjoys helping people access mental healthcare that fits their needs.

When not working, Erika enjoys spending time with her husband and their son. She is involved in volunteer work in the school system and stays busy juggling the responsibilities of a sports mom. Erika enjoys spending time with friends, especially if board games are involved. When time allows, she loves going home to Missouri to spend time with family.
